Wooden windows require a paint job after a decent 5 years due to natural and environmental conditions. This process can be performed by the BELFA service as well as professional housepainters and even by the owner himself as long as the instructions that we provide upon delivery of the product are followed.
However, customers who don’t want to get involved in maintenance or who need windows that can endure high humidity or temperature, prefer our aluminium coated windows which tends to their needs. The windows produced in our standart cross-sections are coated with a flake shaped aluminium protection. This way the windows are preserved from outside conditions and they may be used just like other wooden furniture indoors.
